Make Mental Health Accessible

Maeko Social Work Services invites qualified, compassionate professionals to join its national affiliate network of wellness providers. This growing network plays a vital role in extending access to psychosocial support across South Africa – ensuring that individuals in both urban and remote areas receive the care they need, when they need it.

The affiliate model is designed to be fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial. It enables professionals to work flexibly while maintaining high standards of service and responsiveness. Affiliates are remunerated per session, with no bulk invoicing required. Sessions are also billed individually, streamlining the process for both practitioner and provider.

Key Terms

  • Two approved and paid sessions per client per month
  • Invoices due by the 20th of each month
  • Payment processed within 60 days
  • First client contact must be made within 24 hours of referral

Requirements

Affiliates must be registered with the relevant professional councils (e.g. SACSSP, HPCSA, BHF, EAPA-SA) and should operate from private practice rooms or offer secure virtual counselling.
