Maeko provides structured support for employees who require professional intervention through a formal referral process. Often initiated by management or HR, these referrals are designed to address behavioural, performance, or psychosocial concerns that may be affecting the workplace.
Employees are referred to registered professionals for counselling or specialist support, with clear pathways and protocols in place to ensure confidentiality and care. Progress is monitored and, where appropriate, reported back to HR in alignment with POPIA and professional ethics.
This process ensures that at-risk employees receive the help they need, while enabling organisations to fulfil their duty of care responsibly.
